Christmas is a wonderful time for gamers and gadgeteers, but it can also be a disappointing time as to truly get what you want you nearly always have to drop subtle hints ( write it in 12 ft high graffiti on the side of the house) ... but xmas day comes along and there is normally a set of slipper or a box set of dads army in your stocking.
So this year Buy it yourself, wrap it and have a great Christmas Here is a list of some of the great gifts you should treat yourself to this year.
Games
This past month has been brilliant for games Skylanders, Halo 4 , Call of duty: black ops 2, Borderlands 2 , Forza Horizon. My tip is to get a truly brilliant on line game in this case Call of duty , and on Xmas day strap on the headset and ignore the in-laws.
But its not just games, games technology is currently peaking with the release of the Wii u ( see the review on this blog). The PlayStation 3 has a new 'book of spells' that allows people to delve into the world of harry potter by using PlayStation move
Gadgets
If you want some tech toys to play with on Christmas day there are your customary radio controlled gadgets such as the very weird Sphero at £99 (pictured below) which is iphone/Android controlled ball, it is much more addictive than it sounds. It comes with some android/iPhone apps so you can play golf and racing with it .
Next on the list is Bluetooth gloves , which when paired with your phone can act as your Bluetooth headset then make the customary phone sign with your hand you can speak
